For my AU season 3 (that follows my other two AU fics, Of Rocky Friendships and Finding Yourself and Of Being Gay and Falling in Love), I was going to tackle the attempted suicide plot featured in On My Way.

However, it will not be Karofsky who is attempting to kill himself. It would be another character who, at this point, has been bullied in school and isn’t fitting in well. The only thing is, this character is not gay. He has never had any struggles with his sexuality or been bashed or outed. 

Do you think it’s in bad taste to change the story line like this?
